A recent import from Australia, this muscle car legend is being rebuilt for a kiwi customer living in Sydney.
Originally 186 powered, it has now been fitted with a 350 Chevrolet V8 as fitted to the top line & race cars.
In 1969, the first year under Harry Firth, Holden Dealer Team Monaro 350s came first Bond/Roberts and third West/Brock outright in the Hardie Ferodo 500 at Bathurst.
HT GTS motor sport victories in 1970 included the Surfers Paradise 12-hour race Bond/Roberts, and the Australian Touring Car Championship Beechey.
As evidenced in the gallery, some rust and accident repair has been previously undertaken, with some unusual patches added. Also the rear guards have been modified to accept drag slicks, which were remedied by fitting rebuilt original arches from a donor vehicle.
The factory HT paint colour chosen was Monza Blue, with gloss black stripes.
Original style black loop pile carpet & black & white houndstooth seat upholstery will give this car a wonderful retro feel.
