In 1985 /86 new Parisian built 2CV were sent to New Zealand. It is believed only 30 cars were ever imported new, as the pricing for the only model imported Charleston was equivalent to a Corolla.
As the franc / NZD exchange rate worsened the importers decided the market could not stand any further increases & never imported more.

The first series of pics details a typical restoration, followed by other pics of our finished restos. Originally two tone grey, our clients had fond memories of a Yellow & Black Charleston they owned in the UK & wanted to change this NZ new car to these colours.
